Haïti is well-known for its coffee and excellent quality chocolate…These products, and their different mixtures, served with sweet breads, croissants and brioches, can be savored from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm at Kafe, our coffee shop located at the entrance of the hotel.  In this warm and inviting location, free WIFI is available.

Our restaurant has a story that began with our family’s long tradition in the hospitality industry. In 1949, under president Dumarsais Estimé, Haiti hosted a world’s fair, named: L’Exposition Internationale du Bicentenaire de Port-au-Prince to commemorate the 200th year anniversary of Port-au-Prince’s foundation.  The Buteau family, well-known for their expertise in the restaurant and catering business, was asked, by the acting government in power at the time, to establish a restaurant on the site of the world’s fair. It was a team effort of the entire Buteau family to launch, on “Harry Truman Boulevard”, site of the World’s Fair, what was to become, over the years, internationally famous Le Rond Point Restaurant, under the direction of Maurice Buteau’s elder son Max and his spouse Maryse Pilorge Buteau.
